Glabe Consulting Services, Inc. was incorporated in 1985 to provide expertise in construction engineering to the industry. Since its inception it has grown into the related fields of training, code application and expert support for the legal profession. The company has built its reputation on accuracy, honesty and expertise.
History
Glabe Consulting Services, Inc. was incorporated in Colorado in 1985 by its owner and president, David H. Glabe, P.E. Initially named Western Falsework Engineering, Inc., the firm provided engineering services primarily in the field of temporary structures, including scaffolding, shoring and forming.
The company expanded its services over the years to include scaffold erection services (Falsework Services, Inc.) training and expert witness services. To further indicate the expansion of services, the name was changed in the 1990’s to DH Glabe & Associates, Inc. The corporation continued to expand its engineering, training and expert witness services nationwide and eventually internationally.
During this time the company developed expertise in the interpretation, application and use of safety codes including the OSHA regulations and the ANSI standards. Related to this was the development of training courses for use by clients, including the Scaffold & Access Industry Association (SAIA), the Rocky Mountain Education Center the OSHA Training Center at the University of California, San Diego and the Chesapeake Region Safety Council, Baltimore, Maryland; all are certified OSHA Training Institutes.
By 2010 it was recognized that there was an increasing market for the unique type of engineering services offered by the company and consequently the engineering services were spun off from the corporation as its own entity, DH Glabe & Associates; the parent company was renamed Glabe Consulting Services, Inc. Glabe Consulting Services, Inc. now focuses on expert witness services.
Glabe Consulting Services, Inc., provides support in legal matters pertaining to scaffolding, access, forming, shoring, fall protection and other related matters.
Glabe Consulting Services, Inc. is an active member in the Scaffold & Access Industry Association and is represented on the American National Standards Institute committee on scaffolding, ANSI A10.8.
